Hunting and Being a Dad

It’s often a challenging thing to become a dad. There’s many things that we must consider before we delve into the actual task of being the best dad that we can be. Things to think about I will write about in this blog. I like writing so for me this is easy - and for you - the readers, I hope you can get some proper value from my advice as well. So let’s get started here with a nice introduction about me and my new son. My name is Tim and I was born and raised in Texas by my mother and my uncle. We have a farm and we keep live-stock so I’m no stranger to things like animals - They’ve been a part of my life since I was a toddler. But my main passion when it comes to animals are dogs, you can say I’m a dog dad for sure! I’ve been the proud owner of a pug dog way before I became a dad.

So my son is now 4 years old and my wife has been helping him to find a funny gift for dad for Father’s day. I’m not supposed to know about it but I could tell that they’d been up to something. As when I came back from work recently my son was there with a cheeky grin on his face - I asked him what he’d been up to and he just laughed and said it’s a secret. Then I looked at his mother and she just giggled and said you must see what the package is. So I know they've been buying my something - maybe some hunting jewelry I’m not sure really. I don enjoy hunting in the woods as much as can do when I have time. When my son is a little bit older I will definitely be taking him out to come hunting with me. I personally think it’s important for them to see this kind of an outdoor sport and to be at one with nature. What do you think? I know hunting is a contentious subject for some, but being from Texas - it’s really not an issue for me. It’s a way of life here really and I think it’s good to get some outdoor exercise with your family as well. It means that my son will grow up to be big and strong and reduce the chances of him being bullied at school as well.
